So… I have been watching tons of haul videos on Youtube lately and that made me want to do something similar. Hence, the birth of my first haul post! I don’t think I will ever do a haul video but we shall see. Anything can happen.
I had my birthday this month and was showered with gifts from my beloved friends.
From left to right: Loreal’s Miracle Hair Oil Treatment, Maybelline Pure Mineral BB Cream and Maybelline Bold Matte lipstick in Vivid Coral.
I really love Loreal’s Oil Treatment because it does not leave an oily residue on my hands after applying. It also makes my hair less frizzy after blow-drying.
Here’s how the Maybelline Bold Matte lipstick looks on me:
I not only love the shade but also how moisturising it is on my lips.
Turquoise bag and Revlon’s Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Rendezvous.
Paris Scrapbook, Capitaland vouchers, A Pug’s Guide to Etiquette by Gemma Correll, Pug keychain.
I loveee pugs and I can’t wait to get one in the future.
Beauty
1. Sally Hansen Salon Manicure Top Coat
2. Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Eye
3. Kiehl’s Epidermal Re-Texturizing Micro-Dermabrasion
4. Kiehl’s Travel Size Ultra Facial Cleanser (FOC)
5. Kiehl’s Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution Sample (FOC)
6. Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream
7. Kiehl’s Powerful Wrinkle Reducing Cream Samples (FOC)
I went to Kiehl’s to restock on my Ultra Facial Cream but ended up buying so much more… Oh wells.
I have this Sally Hansen base coat which I have been using for YEARS. So I decided to get their top coat as well because I know it will last.
Fashion
I will wear this either with a tube or a bandeau but I don’t have either at the moment. Need to get!
Because it was so cheap, I had to get another.

My favourite buy of the month! It used to be $126.90 but reduced to $68.90 + an extra 20% off = $55.10. I also used my $50 capitaland voucher which meant that I only paid $5.10 for this dress!
Close up shot.
Coach Classic Leather Stewardess Bag. The biggest buy of the month and also a birthday present to myself. I shipped it over from the USA because Coach Singapore do not carry Coach Classics. Boo.
Home
Marks & Spencer’s Coastal Scented Candle, $10 (on discount). I have no idea why I’m so into candles these days. I also kinda wished Bath & Body Works exists in my country so I can buy their awesome 3 wick candles.
I came to know about Esquina online via the food blogging community. It is opened by Michelin Star Chef Jason Atherton who was Gordon Ramsay’s protégé.
You should get seats inside so you can see the chefs in action. That’s the head chef, Andrew Walsh, who was a former Pollen Street Social executive sous chef for Jason Atherton.
For starters, we had the Iberico Bellota.
Spanish Breakfast – Slow-cooked egg, bravas sauce, potato & crispy iberico. This was so good! It’s one egg dish I wouldn’t mind paying $18 for.
Ham croquetas
Roast lamb rump, black olive polenta, baby romaine, anchovy chimichurri. I’m not a huge fan of lamb but this was so tender and juicy, I could definitely finish it on my own.
Honey wings with granola, oats and truffled milk. This dish was a chef’s special. I decided to order it because I was curious and intrigued about the combination. It really surprised me because it tasted really unique (in a good way).
If you order desserts, there will be a complimentary Sangria sorbet to wash your palette.
Chocolate tea ice cream, sponge sacher, pickled blackberries, hazelnut praline to end our meal.

I had to stop by Wimbly Lu for dessert even though I was pretty full from
This was so good! It really tasted like root beer without the fizz.
Could have 2 of these because the cake slice was pretty small.
Waffles with a scoop of salted caramel ice cream. Crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy inside!
Random vintage mailbox outside.

I’m not a huge fan of seafood (except fish) but decided to give The Cajun Kings a try due to it’s unique concept.
Us with our plastic bibs!
We ordered 2 starters – fried calamari and fish & chips.
I have eaten many fish & chips throughout my life and I have to say that this one is probably one of the best. Instead of thick flour batter, breadcrumbs are used to coat this delectable fillet of catfish. It was light, juicy and full of flavour! The sweet potato fries are pretty good as well.
The calamari on the other hand was just okay for me. The fried batter kept falling off from the squid.
We also ordered 250 grams (about 8-10 pieces) of red sea prawns with king’s mix flavour. The prawns were huge and really fresh.
The mess we created.
