When Tiong Bahru Bakery opened an outlet at Raffles City Shopping Centre, I literally jumped for joy. I have always wanted to try their baked goods but never had the chance to because it was so out of the way.

This squid ink bun with smoked salmon and rockets was alright. I should have said yes to the cream cheese because it was pretty dry without it.
The Kouign Amann is my favourite of all the baked goods at the bakery! It’s like a croissant with a caramelized sugar crust on top. Despite that, it’s not too sweet and goes so very well with tea.
The croque monsieur was a tad too salty. Do share this as it’s pretty filling.
That squid ink bun looks amazing. I have never seen anyone use squid ink for bread!
Oh YUM! Did you try the coffee? It’s pretty amazing considering it’s by 40 hands. :)
