italy 2010: amazing hot chocolate

Italian hot chocolate is so awesome, I drank it almost everyday to keep myself warm. My first encounter wasn’t too good because it came cold. But after having the one at Florence, I was sold.


It has the consistency of mud. Yums.


I guess you could recreate it by stirring in cubes of dark chocolate in your normal hot chocolate or something.

  1. How did I miss this when I was there??? I was RIGHT in Florence, too. Ah, I know…maybe it’s because it was 90 degrees out and the thought of hot chocolate would have caused instantaneous combustion?!? Still, it looks delicious now!
