I’ve finally tried the legendary marutama ramen that has been topping the ramen charts in singapore. However, I didn’t like the noodles used. I know different type of noodles are used in different parts of japan but I just can’t appreciate thin ramen noodles.
Aka ramen comes with chicken balls instead of the usual char siew. The soup is special because 7 different kinds of nuts are boiled together in chicken stock. And because they use chicken stock, it’s not as heavy or strong tasting compared to other ramen branches.
The house specialty – marutama ramen. Look at how thin the noodles are. So, it’s still santuoka for me at the moment.
